Born and raised in Italy, Donatella Parisini worked in the fashion industry in London and Europe before moving to Byron Bay, in New South Wales, Australia. Donatella’s international perspective informs her artistic choices. She also draws inspiration from the eclectic cultural diversity for which Byron Bay is rightly famous, and is one of Byron’s most highly renowned professional photographers. Her exquisite and extensive portfolio includes: wedding photography, portraiture, fashion photography for clothing brands, aspiring and professional models portfolios, commercial photography (including musicians and band photography), pregnancy, children’s and family portraiture. Donatella’s genuine passion for life and people, combined with her unique creative vision and highly specialised technical skills allow her to imbue all of her work with a vibrant blend of artistry, charisma and charm. Adoring clients have called her “a ball of pure energy”, “an amazingly intuitive woman” and “sublimely prolific and prodigiously creative”. As one client put it bluntly: “I will never even consider using another photographer again.” Her clients are constantly delighted with her candid and relaxing manner, her conceptual styling and technical airbrushing which make her one of the regions top photographers. Donatella’s new photography studio in Suffolk Park allows her creative expression to flow into each and every photographic project and she travels regularly to work in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Europe.

As Donatella herself says, “It shows in my work that I don’t capture images just clicking with my camera, it is a blend of all the places I have been, the pictures I have seen, the music I have danced to, the books I have read, the people I have met and loved. It is a privilege to be standing on Bundjalung country, with all my heart I thank the traditional land owners for welcoming me (and us) to such a beautiful corner of this planet. It is an honour to share this experience in this magical place.I respectfully acknowledge the past and present traditional owners of this land the Bundjalung people.Together we acknowledge the contributions of Aboriginal Australians and non-Aboriginal Australians to the education of us and all children and people in this country we all live in and share together”.
